<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner, suppressing vibration of a pipe by increasing force to fix the pipe. <P>SOLUTION: This outdoor unit for the air conditioner includes: a fan chamber 20 with a fan 11 installed; a machine house 30 with a compressor 3 installed; a separator 1 separating the fan chamber 20 and machine house 30 from each other; a plate 9 fixed to the side surface of the separator 1 on the side of the machine house 30; a clamp 6 which has a substantially cylindrical portion 6c with a slit 6b formed in a substantially axial direction and a plate surface portion 6d connected to both the ends of the slit 6b, and which is fixed to the separator 1 by screwing the plate surface portion 6d on the plate 9; a rubber tube 5 inserted into the clamp 6 and having a slit 5d formed in the substantially axial direction; and the pipe 4 connected to the compressor 3 and inserted into the rubber tube 5. Since the plate surface portion 6d of the clamp 6 is screwed on the plate 9, the substantially cylindrical portion 6c of the clamp 6 fastens and fixes the pipe 4 through the rubber tube 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
