The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for encoding and decoding a motion vector of a current block using a predictive motion vector, and provides a method and an apparatus for encoding and decoding a motion vector, which uses multiple predictive vectors for encoding the motion vector, thereby enhancing efficiency of encoding the motion vector, and which can eliminate or minimize information used for expressing whether a predictive motion vector was used in the encoding process.
