POWER GENERATION SYSTEM USING COMPRESSED AIR WHICH STORES AND GENERATING SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A power generation system using compressed gas stored therein and a generation system using the same are provided to improve thermal efficiency by collecting heat from exhaust gas and transferring the collected heat to compressed air before entering to a combustion unit. CONSTITUTION: A power generation system(100) using compressed gas stored therein comprises first and second compression units(110,120), an expansion unit(140), and a control unit(160). The first compression unit compresses gas until the pressure of a storage space(ST) reaches first pressure. The second compression unit receives the compressed gas from the first compression unit and compresses the gas until the pressure of the storage space reaches second pressure. The expansion unit generates power using the compressed gas exhausted from the storage space. When the pressure of the compressed gas exhausted from the storage space does not reach third pressure, the control unit transfers the compressed gas to the second compression unit.
