PURPOSE: A method for detecting dipeptidyl peptidase IV(DPP4) activation using a protein chip is provided to develop medical product through DPP4 inhibition effects. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening an inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase IV comprises: a step of performing molecule docking simulation to detect a material for protein chip screening; a step of adding the detected material to a protein chip in which DPP4 substrate and fluorescence are labeled; and a step of analyzing binding level. The fluorescence material is Cy3(green), Cy5(red), FITC(green), alexa, bodipy, rhodamine, Q-dot. A composition for preventing or treating diabetes contains the screened compound or salt thereof as an active ingredient.
