<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a battery having excellent load characteristics and cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode for a battery is used as at least one of a positive electrode and a negative electrode, the at least one electrode contains a collector and an active material layer, and the collector has a structure such that (1) at least two collector fingers and a collector finger holder connected to one end of each of the at least two collector fingers are provided in a plan view in the direction of the thickness of the collector, and (2) the at least two collector fingers comprise a first collector finger and a second collector finger adjacent to the first collector finger and located below the first collector finger in the direction of the thickness of the collector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
