<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally perform backup or restore processing even on encrypted data stored in a storage device, without reducing a security level, when performing backup or restore processing on data stored in the storage device by using another storage device. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an information processing apparatus in which an encryption board for performing encryption processing and decryption processing is connectable to a first storage device.
