PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GUI control system and the like for displaying a list of recordings, in which content information of a plurality of servers is summarized, on a display device by using a GUI of one server that is a RUI providing source.

SOLUTION: In a GUI control system, a plurality of content servers and a display device are connected via a network; at least one or more content servers out of the plurality of content servers have a function of providing their own content server GUI for other devices; and the display device displays one GUI and displays on the GUI a list of contents contained in the plurality of content servers.
