In order to make it possible to save disturbing cables and the like for a weapon which can be placed down, it is proposed that a module (1) which can be directly connected on or to the weapon or the drive be made available for an externally driven weapon in the placed-down mode, which can accommodate the required power supply. The module (1) is distinguished in that it accommodates a required power supply (3), with the module (1) being directly adaptable to the weapon.
