NETWORK ATTACHED STORAGE

A network attached storage (NAS) is disclosed. A mode switch is provided to enable direct connection between a storage unit in the NAS and a user terminal, as well as a basic function of the NAS to perform data communication with a networked user terminal. Therefore, it may be possible to minimize user inconvenience resulting from limitations of a network line. Also, the NAS may be linked with data in an external Web storage, thereby improving utilization and usability.
