<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas separator that efficiently processes exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas separator (10) includes a substantially cylindrical decomposition tank (12) having one end connected to an inflow tube (14) for introducing exhaust gas to be processed and the other end connected to an outflow tube (16) to discharge the gas processed. On the circumferential face of the decomposition tank, three of more nozzles (12c) are arranged at equal angles when viewed from a cross section orthogonal to the inflow tube and at equal intervals in side view, to spray a carbon-mixed aqueous solution from the nozzles to the exhaust gas in the decomposition tank.
