摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a brake grease used in a friction part of a brake device. <P>SOLUTION: The grease used in a friction part of a brake device is produced by compounding tricalcium phosphate in a base oil selected from mineral oils and/or synthetic oils. The tricalcium phosphate and bentonite are used in combination. In a preferable grease composition for a brake, a coefficient of friction after heating at 150&deg;C for 100 hours is 0.140-0.170 in the Bowden friction test, a difference of the coefficient of friction before and after the heating is -5 to +5%, and an evaporation amount after heating at 150&deg;C for 100 hours in a high-temperature thin film evaporation test is 25 mass% or less.
