<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor assembly which can be assembled and repaired independently from a stator sub-assembly and a magnet sub-assembly without requiring removal of whole of a steering gear. <P>SOLUTION: The torque sensor assembly 20 of three parts includes the stator sub-assembly 25, the magnet sub-assembly 30, and a sensor module 35. The stator sub-assembly includes an engagement opening and a stator molding containing the magnetic stator fixed to the stator molding. The magnet sub-assembly includes a multiple pole magnet 45. The sensor module includes a sensor housing having an opening of a protrusion part, a carrier fixed to the housing, a torque sensor fixed to the carrier, and a position setting unit for the sensor module slidably accommodated in the sensor housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
