<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a water discharging property of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A first passage component 140 of a gas passage layer 40 has first projection parts 141 projecting toward a power generating body layer 35, and second projection parts 142 projecting toward a separator 70, repeatedly. Similarly, a second passage component 240 has first projection parts 241 and second projection parts 242, repeatedly. In the first passage component 140, a first gas passage 143 on the side of the first projection part 141 is a power generating body layer side passage, and its volume is larger than that of the second gas passage 144 which is a separator side passage. In the second passage component 240, a first gas passage 243 on the side of the first projection part 241 is a power generating body layer side passage, and its volume is smaller than that of the second gas passage 244 which is a separator side passage.
