<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical element in which the number of mold sets to be used is decreased, and small-quantity production is dealt with. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an optical element includes a heating process for heating an optical element material placed in a mold set in a heating stage, a pressurization process for pressurizing the optical element in a pressurization stage, and a cooling process for cooling the pressurized optical element in a cooling stage, wherein in at least either one of the heating stage and the pressurization stage, at least one condition of temperatures H1, H3, and H5 of a heat transfer member touching to the mold set, loads P1, P2, and P3 applied to the mold set, and times t-2, t-4, and t-6 for heating or pressurizing the optical element material is varied for each one mold set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
