<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat capable of appropriately absorbing impact by preventing drop of the seat without complicating a structure. <P>SOLUTION: On the front side of seat cushion SC of this vehicular seat, a sector gear 5 gears with a pinion 7, and the pinon 7 is arranged behind the sector gear 5, thereby the pinion 7 is made to function as a stopper even when a large load is imposed on a rear-side lifter link 6 in rear collision, and the front-side height position of the seat cushion SC can continue to be kept in the current condition. Since a connection link 10 is journaled to a front-side lifter link 5 and a rear-side lifter link 6 to be extended between them, and the front end of the connection link 10 is journaled to the front side relative to the gearing position between the sector gear 5 and the pinion 7, the connection link 10 can be made to function as a strut of the rear-side lifter link 6 tending to fall to the rear side by a collision load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
