The exhaust gas system has a recuperation heat exchanger (5) is arranged or integrated at one of the two exhaust pipes (1,2) in direct proximity of exhaust valves (3,4) and in a flow direction before a catalyst or supercharger. A valve is arranged with a tilted flap in the respective exhaust pipe. A medium is obtained for influencing exhaust flow rate conductible through the two exhaust pipes. An independent claim is also included for a method for conducting exhaust gas of an internal-combustion engine.
