Providing network controlled discovery process and resources in a network in a manner that the use of discovery process does not interfere with the other resources of the cell. A frame structure is selected so that the discovery process does not interfere with the uplink and/or downlink resources of the cell. This is provided by using at least one guard period in the subframe used for discovery resources. |
