A panel and frame arrangement comprising a panel, preferably a glazing 10 mounted in a channel in a frame 11. Resilient member, in the form of a Z shaped clip 8 is affixed 16 to either panel or frame preferably with an adhesive or double sided tape, and bears simultaneously on the top face of the frame, and the bottom edge of the panel. This preferably sets the position of the panel and leaves a peripheral void between panel and frame 12. The clip may take some of the weight of the glazing panel. A resilient seal 14 may be used to cover the edge of the clip resting on the surface of the frame. A drain channel 13 may be provided within the void to prevent the collection of standing water which may act as a bridge reducing the insulation value of the panel. The resilient member 8 may be manufactured from a rigid element encased in a resilient sealing material. |
