These are copolymers of an aliphatic conjugated diene with 4-10C-atoms, and 0.5 to 20%, with respect to monomer mixture, of a carboxylic acid amide with ethylenic double bond and at least one -C - N- group. The amide may have formula where R' is an ethylenically unsatd. C2-20 hydrocarbon residue, and R" is H, alkyl or alkylol with 1-10C atoms; and x is 1 or 2. The copolymer may be a terpolymer contg. also styrene or acrylonitrile. The copolymer may be in the form of an aqueous latex. Used as impregnant for fibrous materials. |
