A changeover switch for H.F. coaxial lines comprises two mutually parallel, electrically connected leaf-springs carrying the changeover contacts. The contacts are able to swivel between two spaced apart opposite facing inner conductor contact studs of the exit line. Compact design, with preservation of the characteristic impectance of the spring-pair during a prescribed contact sequence in switching over, is attained by pre-tensioning both contacts, by their leaf-springs, against one another and by connecting the contacts to the incoming coaxial line. Two switch-cams carried by a switch shaft are arranged between the leaf springs and these cams individually push against the leaf-springs with time overlapping of the closure and opening times of the contacts. |
