<p>Manufacture of cutter-carrying stators and rotors for cone or disc mills used in the disintegration of papermaking fibres, comprises first moulding or machining cone or disc-shaped blanks for these two parts with a smooth surface and thereafter applying the cutters separately to the surface of each part, esp. by welding them on at diametrically opposite positions to ensure uniform temperature distribution. The knives are pref. cold-rolled stainless steel or carbon steel alloy.</p> |
