<p>A device for continuously admixing controlled quantities of a first liquid with a second liquid comprises a sliding valve element to regulate the flow rate of the first liquid, the position of the valve element depending on the flow rate of the final mixture. The valve element is actuated between opposed diaphragms, one representing first liquid flow-rate by having its two faces connected to opposite sides of an orifice plate in the first fluid supply line, the other diaphragm similarly associated with an orifice plate in the mixture outlet. Partic. suitable for mixing foam concentrate with water for fire-fighting foam.</p> |
