<p>An optical device in which further miniaturization and higher speed operation are achieved as compared with a means employing a macro mechanical mechanism and utilization efficiency of light is enhanced. An optical device (2) comprises a plurality of elements (10) arranged two-dimensionally on a substrate (11). Each element (10) comprises a rotary disc (12) capable of changing the angular posture to the substrate (11), and an optical filter (13) provided on the rotary disc (12). The portion of the element (10) other than the optical filter (13) constitutes one microactuator. The optical filter (13) is a transmissive or reflective optical filter having wavelength selection characteristics. The wavelength selection characteristics of the optical filter (13) vary depending on the incident angle of incident light to the optical filter (13).</p> |
