<p>X-ray tube anode (optionally rotary anode) provided with a work spot (path), consisting of a thin layer of a refractory metal having high atomic weight, is improved in that the anode body is made from beryllium, which has high thermal capacity and thermal radiation ability, so that a light weight rotary anode can be used. The adherence of the X-ray emitting metal to the beryllium can be improved by applying an intermediate metallic layer therebetween.</p> |
