[Also in Division F2] In a drive arrangement (Division F2) by which a motor car window or sun roof is power or manually operated, torque is limited in either mode by overload-releasing coupling means. In all embodiments, power operation is by an electric motor (1) acting through a worm and wormwheel 3, 5, and a wire-wrapped-cable rack 8 connected to the window or sun roof operating mechanism is driven by an output pinion 6. Manual operation is by a tool (such as a screw driver, crank or wrench) engaged in a slot 16 of a shaft 14 (as shown and in Figs. 3-7, not shown) or in axial grooves of a coupling member (Figs. 8-17, not shown). |
