<p>The hollow cylindrical filter element is placed in a housing which has in addition to the normal gas inlet and outlet a cleaning trap at its base and an automatic control for electromagnetic valves used to close the normal parts, open the cleaning trap and release a reverse stream of compressed air through the filter. The cleaning trap is a flat spring loaded palte, with annular grooves near its outer edge bearing against a gasket on a flange at the bottom of the cylindrical housing.</p> |
