The method involves receiving and transmitting information by transmitter-receiver nodes (1-10) of an ad hoc network. The nodes are divided into groups according a distribution rule, where each node defines a neighborConstraint for neighbor nodes and transmits the defined neighborConstraint to the neighbor nodes. The node defines one of the groups to which the node belongs, according to the distribution rule based on the neighborConstraint received from the neighbor nodes. An independent claim is also included for an ad hoc network comprising transmitter-receiver nodes.
