STEAM IRON FOR IRONING AT CONSTANT TEMPERATURE

FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: heated base (6) of iron has holes (8) for steam output. Heated chamber (10) of steam generator intercommunicates with holes (8) for steam output. Water tank (12) intercommunicates with chamber (10) of steam generator. Heating element (20) is purposed for heating of iron base (6) and steam generator chamber (10). In-built automatic temperature controller (24; 38) is connected to heating element (20); it is designed to allow maintaining temperature of iron base (6) during operation of steam iron (2) in pre-set rigid range of ironing temperature of 180C - 190C and this range cannot be changed manually. Device (30) for maintenance of constant ironing temperature is connected to in-built automatic temperature controller (24) and temperature controller (28) for manual ironing. ^ EFFECT: optimisation of ironing quality and reliability for textiles with different thermal properties. ^ 11 cl, 5 dwg
