PURPOSE: A recording device and a recording method are provided to enable a reader to accurately understand content of a meeting and to record content of a meeting. CONSTITUTION: An inputting unit receives minute data which is inputted by a user in a meeting. An obtaining unit obtains identification information about meeting data. A recording control unit records identification information which is obtained by the obtaining unit. A display controlling unit displays meeting data according obtained identification information.
