PURPOSE: A composition containing antigen protein is provided to enable early serological diagnosis and clonorhiasis and to prevent and treat clonorhiasis. CONSTITUTION: A composition for diagnosign clonorchiasis contains polypeptide propionyl-CoA carboxylase having an amino acid sequence of sequence number 4 as an active ingredient. A composition for diagnosing clonorhiasis contains a gene encoding propionyl-CoA carboxylase protein as an active ingredient. The gene has a base sequence of sequence number 12.
