<p>Apparatus for carrying out the process o Canadian Patent No. 867677 includes a transparent electrode and an electrode having a "blocking" surface i.e. an insulating or semi-conductive surface which substantially prevents charge exchange between that electrode and adjacent particles in a photoelectrophoretic imaging suspension. The surface may be for example polytetrafluoroethylene or polyethylene terepthalate. The blocking electrode prevents particle oscillation thus improving image quality.</p> |
