A method for diagnostics of disturbances of exocrine function of pancreas in children and adolescents with insulin-dependent diabetes through study of biological fluid, at that in blood serum in basal conditions and in 30 minutes after standard food load one determines level of secretin and cholecystokinin, if decrease of secretion of secretin before and after food loading takes place, while secretion of cholecystokinin before and after loading is increased, exocrine insufficiency of pancreas is diagnosed. |
