PURPOSE: A flash memory device and a program verifying method are provided to uniformly distribute a threshold voltage of a cell by completing a program about a low speed program cell after high speed program cells are detected. CONSTITUTION: A voltage supply unit(250) generates an operation voltage according to an operation mode and provides the operation voltage to a memory cell array. A controller(270) provides a first verification voltage and a second verification voltage to a memory cell array in a program verification operation. The controller sets a program stop state by detecting a high speed program cell from the memory cell with the first verification voltage and the second verification voltage and detects a low speed program cell by the second verification voltage. The controller programs the selected memory cell by successively increasing a program pulse. |
