PURPOSE: A light guide plate and a backlight unit assembly are provided to reduce unit costs and improve a property of matter using polystyrene as a main material of a light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate comprises a structural layer(20) and a base layer(10) including a plurality of patterns arranged in the shape of a column. A groove is formed in the middle of the pattern.
