<p>PURPOSE: A charging device, a method for producing the charging device thereof, a process cartridge thereof, and an image forming device thereof are provided to maintain the cleaning property of a charged cleaning member. CONSTITUTION: The surface of a charging member(10) is analyzed by an X-ray photoelectron spectrum analysis after an elastic layer(20) of a charged cleaning member(12) is contacted with the charging member at the initial state for 24 hours. The maximum content of Si consisting of a siloxane frame in a contact part and a non contact part is 6 atomic percent or less. The charged cleaning member comprises a core body and an elastic layer which is arranged in a helical shape on the outer surface of the core body.</p> |
