PURPOSE: A ground information providing method and a system thereof can provide information about ground structure according to the medium property in the ground and dielectric over unit volume. CONSTITUTION: A ground probing apparatus(10) comprises a GPR unit(107), a dielectric information setting unit(111), and a dielectric information generating unit(113). The GPR unit probes the ground using GPR. The dielectric information setting unit establishes the dielectric constant and the critical volume referred to the dielectric information generation. The dielectric information generating unit corresponds to the dielectric constant value in the ground and produces the information about the dielectric having the more volume than the probed critical volume.
