PURPOSE: A swerving prevention apparatus for a belt conveyor is provided to prevent foreign material from piling up by forming the upper part of a main body frame into a pointed shape. CONSTITUTION: A swerving prevention apparatus includes a main frame, a rotation frame, a swerving control roller, and a guide roller(6). The main frame is installed in a predetermined area of a belt conveyor. The upper part of the main frame is pointedly formed. The rotation frame is rotatably installed in the main frame by a rotary shaft. The swerving control roller is installed in the rotation frame. The guide roller is located in both sides of the rotation frame and projected to opposite direction of the belt progress direction.
