PURPOSE: A fuel door collision preventing device of a sliding door is provided to improve the outer surface of a vehicle since a base plate of a latch mechanism is not exposed to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A fuel door collision preventing device of a sliding door comprises a roller device(40), a latch operation unit(30), and a latch mechanism. The roller device is installed in a sliding door(2). The roller device is coupled with a body side rail(9) and moves along the rail during the moving of the sliding door. A latch operation unit operates with the opening and closing of a fuel door(12) and pulls/releases a cable(29). The latch mechanism is connected to the latch operation unit by a cable. The latch mechanism comprises a latch(23).
