PURPOSE: A bookbinding machine is provided to enhance bookbinding efficiency and to prevent accident. CONSTITUTION: A bookbinding machine has a fixing cover(1,2) at one side of the upper portion of a scraping unit(C) and side adhesion application unit(D); a driving cover(3,4) mounted at the other side of the fixing cover to face each other. The driving cover of the scraping unit and side adhesion application unit are integrally formed. A roller(B2) is mounted at one side of upper portion of the driving cover of the scraping unit. The elastic sliding of the driving cover is operated by a cylinder(5) connected at the bottom of a driving plate.
