PURPOSE: An automatic cleaning apparatus of plating rolls is provided to extend replacement period since the front surface of a pad is evenly worn away. CONSTITUTION: An automatic cleaning apparatus of plating rolls comprises a scotch-Brite pad(43), a frame part, and a rack gear. The Scotch-Brite pad polishes the surface of a plating roll(3). The frame part supports the Scotch-Brite pad and transfers the Scotch-Brite pad along the longitudinal direction of the plating roll. The rack gear is installed on one side of the plating roll. The rack gear coverts the linear motion of the moving Scotch-Brite pad into a rotational motion and rotates the Scotch-Brite pad in a specific direction.
