PURPOSE: A portable terminal and control method thereof are provided to display history or preview information on a screen by enabling a user to touch a specific screen. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal(100) includes a touch screen and a control unit(180). The control unit displays a preview image on a screen nu receiving a touch input signal in a lock screen state. A pass word input screen is displayed as the preview image. An application corresponding to the touched preview image is executed. The lock screen state is terminated by the touch input signal. |
