PURPOSE: A mud guard apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent damage to a mud guard in case of dumping operation since the mud guard is reeled upward during the dumping operation in order to reduce the length thereof. CONSTITUTION: A mud guard apparatus for a vehicle comprises a housing, a turning gear(200), a rotation bar, and a mud guard(500). The housing is located on the lower part of a back wheel rearward dumping unit(10) of a dump truck(1). The housing is installed on the side of a lower car body(20) of a dump truck. The turning gear is installed inside the housing to be rotatable. The turning gear engages with the operation of the dumping unit of the dump truck and repeats the forward and rearward rotation. The rotation bar connects to the turning gear and repeats the forward and rearward rotation. The mud guard is reeled in the rotation bar and is inserted into the housing.
