OXYGEN CARRIERS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Oxygen donating particles and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the reactivity of the oxygen donating particles and to be adequate to a fluid bed process. CONSTITUTION: Oxygen donating particles include active materials containing metal oxide and a support. The support includes hydrotalcite or the mixture of gamma alumina and the hydrotalcite. The metal oxide contains one or more selected from a group including copper-based, nickel-based, iron-based, manganese-based, and cobalt-based oxides. A composition for the oxygen donating particles include 50-80 parts by weight of the metal oxide, 10-45 parts by weight of the gamma alumina, and 5-50 parts by weight of the hydrotalcite. A method for manufacturing the oxygen donating particles includes the following: the composition is mixed with a solvent(S10); homogenized slurry is obtained(S20); the slurry is sprayed and dried to form solid particles(S30); and the solid particles are dried and plasticized to obtain eth oxygen donating particles(S40).
