PURPOSE: A pottery and a method for fabricating the same are provided to enable lids to be easily manufactured and to have a variety of shapes. CONSTITUTION: A pottery comprises a first body(100), and a lid(200). The first body comprises an opening(120) and a space(110). The lid is formed in order to open and close the opening of the body. The lid comprises a second body(210) formed to cover the opening, and a protrusion(220). The protrusion is integrally formed with the inner side of the second body so that a given space is formed between the outer circumference of the end of the second body and the outer circumference of the upper end of the first body when the first body is connected to the lid. The end of the protrusion is formed in order to make contact with the outer circumference of the opening.
