PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to arrange an epitaxial emitter part by performing an epitaxial growth process, thereby simplifying a manufacturing process by omitting a separate texturing process. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(110) is formed with p-type conductive silicon. An emitter part(120) is formed on the front surface of the substrate. An antireflection film(130) is formed on the emitter part. A plurality of first electrodes(141) is electrically connected to the emitter part. A rear electric field part(170) is located between a second electrode(150) and the substrate.
