PURPOSE: A method for preparing an acrylonitrile-butadiene latex and the acrylonitrile-butadiene latex prepared thereby are provided to remarkably improve polymerization stability and to reduce the coagulation generation inside latex and reactor. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer latex uses ethylene oxide-based sulfonate as an emulsifier. The acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer is prepared by polymerizing 15-35 parts by weight of an acylonitrile monomer, 55-75 parts by weight of a butadiene monomer, and 0.1-10 parts by weight of an ethylenic unsaturated acid monomer based on 100 parts by weight of the total monomers.
