PURPOSE: A pump, capable of testing under dry conditions, is provided to minimize abrasion of a rotary shaft and a support part because testing is operated after supplying clean water in the support part sufficiently. CONSTITUTION: A pump(100), capable of testing under dry conditions, comprises a motor(110), an impeller(120), a casing(130), a bush(180), a water supply pipe(150), a main supply line(160), and a controller(170). The motor has a rotary shaft. The impeller is coupled to the rotary shaft to flow in and out of fluid storing in a sump pit(200). In the casing, a support part(140), an inlet(131), and an outlet(133) are formed. The bush is arranged between the support part and the rotary part to reduce frictional force causing between the support part and the rotary part. The water supply pipe connects the casing with the support part to supply clean water to the support part from the outside of the casing. The main supply line supplies the clean water to the water supply pipe from a water supply system(250) locating in the outside of the sump pit.
