PURPOSE: A multi-purpose boiler for providing steam to generate electricity and obtaining alkali fertilizer is provided to obtain expensive materials more compared with input using quicklime and water as a heat source. CONSTITUTION: A multi-purpose boiler(100) for providing steam to generate electricity and obtaining alkali fertilizer comprises a reaction chamber and a heat transfer unit(60). The reaction chamber is formed in a double jacket structure in the housing of the boiler. The heat transfer unit surrounds the inner reaction chamber(50) of the reaction chamber. The inner reaction chamber comprises a quicklime supply unit and a water supply unit. The inner reaction chamber induces reaction heat by reaction of hydration of the water to the quicklime. The heat transfer unit has a structure supplying water.
