PURPOSE: A cable device for a carriage is provided to absorb tension from a cable by rotating a tension part supporting the cable according to the tension of the cable resulting from the movement of a carriage. CONSTITUTION: A cable device for a carriage comprises a winding part(10) and a tension part(20). The winding part comprises a reel(11) for rolling a cable which is connected to a carriage and a rotary motor(12) for rotating the reel. The tension part supports the cable and rotates according to the tension of the cable.
