PURPOSE: An electric dust collector control system and a method thereof are provided to enhance efficiency of dust collection by corresponding to dust concentration, boiler load, and soot blower movement in the electric dust collector. CONSTITUTION: An electric dust collector control system comprises voltage control systems(201,202), a drop control system(203), a distributed control system(204), a monitor system(205), and a particulate concentration measuring device(208). The voltage control system supplies necessary voltage to electric dust collectors(211,212). The drop control system eliminates dust collected in the electric dust collector. The distributed control system controls the voltage control system and the drop control system corresponding to actions of particulate concentration, operation of the soot blower, and the boiler load. The distributed control system comprises a power supply unit, a central processing unit, a transceiver, and an input unit. |
